What health care do you provide puppies while they are with you?

My puppies are dewormed several times before they are 8 weeks old, and also receive their first puppy vaccination around 6 weeks of age. While puppies are with me, they will continue to receive regular dewormings and will be on the puppy vaccination schedule (most veterinarians recommend a vaccination approximately every 3 to 4 weeks until they are 4 months old or have had 4 vaccinations).

Puppies are also given anti-protozoal medications to help prevent puppy diarrhea.

Will my puppy be potty trained when I get him/her?

No, puppies are too young to be potty trained until they are about 8 weeks old, which is when most of my puppies leave me. At that time, they are becoming ready to understand training and can catch on quite quickly with diligent/watchful families.

There are also many excellent books available that are super resources for training tips. Visit Amazon.com or other sites that sell books, and search for keywords such as "puppy training" or "training my dog."

Do you have references?

For privacy reasons, I don't give contact information for my past puppies' families out publicly. I have placed notes and pictures from several on my References web page, and would love to receive updates from you if you adopt one of my puppies.

How do I reach your home?

Once you and I decide upon a time for you to meet your puppy, I will give you instructions to reach my acreage. Online mapping and GPS have taken my visitors all over the county, getting them lost. Please do not rely upon GPS and online mapping...for my address, it is unreliable for some reason!
